If you’re DJing on Juneteenth, you better do your homework & put on a show. Black Americans created too many genres for yall to be playing mainstream Hip Hop and R&B all day. I better hear Gospel before I hear Afrobeats. Disco, Funk, House, Go-Go, Bounce, Hyphy. DO YOUR JOB, DJ!!

For the artist, it means less social pressure. Less public judgment. Time to build a concrete brand without a clock over their head. Catalog depth before that first impression. Shall I go on?

pgLang signed an artist, developed her for years behind the scenes, dropped her debut off-cycle on a Tuesday, and used the signing announcement as a promotional vehicle. This approach is so rare it's breaking people's brains 😂

International adventures builds such intimate deep connections. We could be acquaintances back home but after a three day stint linked up in a foreign land just know we locked in forever.

I tried to make some kale ramen noodles in a wakame dry broth as a side dish last night. That shit was nasty as fuck, salmon and avocado for dinner. 👩🏽‍🍳

Black men are exponentially dying of Colorectal Cancer because of their homophobic fears of colonoscopies. America Cancer Society states Black Men have a 40% higher mortality rate compared to other racial groups. Mind you, this is literally a preventable cancer.

It's interesting watching people underestimate you until they realise you were being humble, not incapable.

Yup. Love and partnership being reduce to desire > need. Everyone is thinking ‘if i can barely afford to take care of myself how can i take care of someone else’ and opting out. But the crazy part is partnership is supposed to relieve financial strains if you’re doing it right.
The silent killer in this dating shit is capitalism. Nobody wants to admit it, but look at the world right now. People aren’t gonna put as much effort when everything is more expensive and unemployment is high. Ppl barely have the bandwidth to survive

I know some things may try to break you but whatever you do, try not to find yourself going through the motions.
