Tax relief on pension payments... What percentage is the tax relief? What about higher income tax bracket payers (Scotland)? Do we have to do something to get tax relief at the higher level? @MartinSLewis

Why would it be bad to lower income and NI taxes and increase VAT? So long as VAT categories are sorted properly then it is the only fair tax in the world - only paid on luxury purchases. So the poor would pay ZERO and such would pay ALL. @MartinSLewis
