The rewiring of reality is a phenomenon within Scottish football worthy of a psychological study. Decades of unchecked grandiose delusions have now deteriorated into a full-blown persecutory paranoia disorder over the last 14 years. File all this alongside the same club myth, the Pacific Shelf phoenix club theory, the ‘World’s Most Successful Club’ mantra, and the “People’s Champions” being league winners without medals.

Fergusson and McTom don’t work in a 2. They just aren’t on the each others wavelength. Shankland hasn’t played well in a competitive match for Scotland. Changes needed in Mid and up front. Thought the defence had a good game.

Instead of aw these new rules we get every WC, how about we properly enforce the rules we have. Like making the GK take the FK from where the player was fouled and not 10 yards forward and 5 yards in.

We are genuinely being dragged back decades with these fascists being allowed to walk the streets and attack anyone who isn’t white. Naziism is alive and well and has been spreading throughout Europe for a while now unchallenged by anyone with any power to challenge.

The only good Nazi is a dead Nazi.
Gavin Robinson will be turning up in Ards to condemn this wont he? 🫣 I'll bet the people that painted this support Israel.

Full statement by the family of Stephen Ogilvie: "We are completely devastated by the horrific attack on our loved one on Kinnaird Avenue. "This has been a massive shock to our whole family, and right now, our only priority is being at his bedside and helping him recover. "We want to say a profound thank you to the local people who bravely stepped in during the attack. "Your quick actions absolutely saved his life, and we will never forget what you did for him in that moment. "We also want to thank the emergency services and the doctors and nurses looking after him. "We are aware of the tensions and talk of protests following this incident. "We want to make it absolutely clear that overnight unrest is not welcome, and peaceful protest is the only way forward. "We have many migrants who make a deeply valuable contribution to our country, including in our healthcare system and hospitality sector and we depend on them to make our country work. "We do not want this terrible tragedy to be used to divide people or fuel hostility. "We are asking the media and the public to please give us some space. "We need privacy to focus on our family right now, without cameras or people speculating about what happened. "If you know anything at all about the attack, or saw anything strange near Kinnaird Avenue, please go to the police. "Thank you for respecting our privacy"

Just found out that in 2021, the UN tried to declare food a human right, two countries voted against it. The United States and Israel.
Hit me with the harshest reality truth.

Why are people still shoving a camera into his face and asking him to talk about his best pals death over and over? This is a beautiful letter that should have been kept private and not used for fucking social media interaction.
Diogo Jota's wife, Rute Cardoso, has written a letter to Scotland captain Andy Robertson ahead of the World Cup. She thanks Robertson for his friendship, and for preserving Diogo's memory. Robertson adds he'll have Jota at the forefront of his mind.🙏

If Keane is unable to come in as manager without MON essentially holding his hand, he is t ready to be Celtic manager. That’s where this should have started and stopped.

Every. Single. Season.
See in a roundabout way Celtic winning the league could be the best thing that’s happened to us in years They’re considering MON for a season, they’re not trying to physically assault board members - it’s all merry The incompetence will remain but we will get 10x stronger

“My name is Amos Goldberg. I am an Israeli Professor of Holocaust Studies. For nearly 30 years I have researched and taught the Holocaust, genocide and state violence. And I want to tell whoever is willing to listen that what’s happening now in Gaza is a genocide. A year ago when October 7th happened, like all Israelis I was in shock. It was a war crime and a crime against humanity. 1200 people - more than 800 of them civilians - were killed in one day. Children and the elderly were among those taken hostage. Communities were destroyed. It was outrageous, traumatizing, personal. Like most Israelis, I know people who were killed, who lost loved ones or whose loved ones were taken hostage. But immediately afterwards came Israel’s response and within weeks thousands of civilians were killed in Gaza. It took me some time to digest what was unfolding before my eyes. It was agonizing to confront that reality. I was reluctant to call it a genocide. But if you read Raphael Lemkin – the Jewish-Polish legal scholar who coined the term ‘genocide’ and was the major driving force behind the 1948 United Nations Genocide Convention – what is happening in Gaza now is exactly what he had in mind when he spoke about genocide. It does not need to look like the Holocaust to be a genocide. Each genocide looks different and not all involve killing of millions or the entire group. The United Nations Genocide Convention explicitly asserts that genocide is the act of deliberately destroying a group in whole or in part. Those are the words. But there does need to be a clear intent. And indeed, there are clear indications of intent to destroy Gaza: Israel’s leaders - including the prime minister and the minister of defence - and many high-ranking military officers, media personalities, rabbis, as well as ordinary soldiers were very open about what they wanted to achieve. There were countless documented incitements to turn the whole of Gaza into rubble and claims that there are no innocent people living there. A radical atmosphere of dehumanization of the Palestinians prevails in Israeli society to an extent that I can’t remember in my 58 years of living here. Now that vision has been enacted. Tens of thousands of innocent children, women and men have been killed. Over a hundred thousand were wounded. There is a near total destruction of infrastructure, intentional starvation and blocking of humanitarian aid. There are mass graves and reliable testimony of summary executions. Children that were shot by snipers. All the universities and almost all hospitals are gone. Almost all the population is displaced. There have been numerous bombings of civilians in so-called ‘safe zones’. Gaza does not exist anymore. It is completely destroyed. Thus, the outcome fits perfectly with the stated intentions of Israel’s leadership. Lemkin - that scholar who coined the term ‘genocide’ - described two phases of a genocide. The first is the destruction of the annihilated group and the second is what he called ‘imposition of the national pattern’ of the perpetrator. We are now witnessing the second phase as Israel prepares ethnically cleansed areas for Israeli settlements. And therefore, I have come to the conclusion that this is exactly what a genocide looks like. We don’t teach about genocides in order to realize it retrospectively. We teach about it in order to prevent it and to stop it. But like in every other case of genocide in history right now we have mass denial. Both here in Israel and around the world. But reality cannot be denied. So yes, it is a genocide. And once you come to this conclusion you cannot remain silent.” - Statement to Led By Donkeys, December 2024 - Photo: Parliament Square, London, 8.40am, 4th December 2024
