Classic Nigerian meals I’d avoid/reduce as “Breakfast” if I want to lose weight🧵: 1. Bread and Tea: I’d avoid this completely. Depending on the quantity, it is heavy carbs and sugar without enough protein. White bread is highly refined, meaning it spikes blood sugar and leaves you hungry shortly after. Plus we all know that two will never be enough, especially if it is paired with butter or jam.👀 "Tea" in Nigeria usually means a hefty dose of milo, milk and sugar and of course, a calorie-dense sugar trap.

Had an amazing time speaking at @Kwara_Designers Conference on Thursday. Grateful to the organisers and fellow panelists @__Smute @itzareous for such an inspiring conversation. You don’t need a perfect environment to grow; start where you are.

KDC was a film. Two days of explosive impact. On day 2, I was on a Panel with @itzareous @theglobal_lady, speaking on Global Exposure and Opportunities for Creatives. We talked pricing, AI (fluency, not dependency), and why your context is your edge, not your cage. But my favourite moment? My time with Mr. Olusoji Oyawoye @ESOJAYILUDUN , a 7x author, a director in companies across 4 countries, a mentor of leaders, and my late Dad’s close friend. He took time from his schedule to be with me. To be present That's the kind of support that reminds you why the work matters and why the relationships you build are the most durable thing you'll ever own. @Kwara_Designers , you were that experience I will never forget.
