I had a kid tell me that he knows my job can be frustrating and if I ever feel I need to calm down, I can come find him and he’ll be my emotional support student! 🥺🫶🏾 I didn’t know I needed one of those until that moment.
Our 6th graders held their debates today for their argumentative unit and they did PHENOMENAL! Their running line was: “I’m gonna clock that tea with evidence” & now I think I need that on a shirt! 😂
I created an escape room for our ELA students to have one final review before state testing. They had a time! It was the one day they were allowed to run through the halls!
I love getting to help teachers instructionally as it keeps me connected to the classroom. Today,
our students participated in an Easter egg hunt. We’ve been coming up with some creative ways to help teachers review for state testing.

Couldn’t be more proud of our 7th grade students of the month! These students exemplify what it means to ROAR! They are kind, compassionate, and are positive role models in our school community! 💙
