You visit a normal website. Nothing shady.
Hidden “stealth” scripts quietly collect your Canvas, WebGL, fonts, and hardware profile.
Browser companies purchase access behind closed doors. $5 per 1,000 prints.
They replay your exact fingerprint and sell it as infrastructure.
It passes antibot checks because it came from a real device.
The fix: defenses need to assume replay.

Your "stealth" browser gets blocked by a single API call.
Antibots classify every IP by type, ASN, owner, geolocation.
AWS cloud VM? Datacenter IP and ASN. Fraud score raised instantly.
"Just get residential IPs" doesn't work.
No ISP gives you IPs without an internet line. Put them on your cloud provider and the ASN gets marked datacenter anyway.
Residential proxies aren't any better. Geolocation, DNS, latency all mismatched from your cloud server.
The fix: a DIA line from a real ISP pulled into your datacenter rack. IPs sit under their ASN. Residential status, datacenter reliability.
Own the hardware. Own the internet. Own the reputation.

Your "stealth" browser fakes a GPU and it gets detected by pixels.
Antibot scripts draw test scenes through WebGL and Canvas APIs, then read back the pixel output.
They're checking the rendered pixels, not your spoofed renderer string.
Fake GPU = SwiftShader. String says NVIDIA. But pixels say software. Detected.
GPU-over-IP forwards calls from a CPU-only machine to a real GPU over TCP. Real hardware, real pixels.
You can fake the string. You can't fake the pixels.

Set background-color: ActiveText on a div. Read getComputedStyle().
ActiveText is a CSS system color, it pulls from your OS theme.
Real desktop? Unique themed color.
Headless cloud machine? Chromium returns its hardcoded default: rgb(255, 0, 0).

Browser infra startups love to claim "stealth" yet almost none fix the network layer.
They plug in residential proxies and call it a day, but the latency hop between where the browser actually runs and the proxy exit IP is detectable.
If you're not fixing that 30ms gap between networks, I'm bearish.
