lol… IG my feed is showing New Yorkers celebrating the Knicks winning the championship. Meanwhile X keeps showing a bus getting destroyed.

Helium Mobile getting acquired by Noble Mobile is wild. The models don’t match at all. Noble Mobile: $50 tax for unlimited everything. Use less data and get up to $20 back. Helium Mobile: $30 for unlimited data earn rewards. Two completely different philosophies. And Andrew Yang — the guy who ran on Universal Basic Income — is the CEO of Noble.

This is why I stopped reviewing smartphone cameras 👏👏👏👏👏 It's mostly over-processed garbage and prices have gone up over time ✅ Smartphone manufacturers are skipping camera hardware upgrades for more software processing ✅ Smartphone manufacturers are opting for "AI magic" editing over real quality photos✅ Even Google Pixels are providing over processed shots nowadays especially in low light. They've changed since the Pixel 4/5 series. I'm not sure if the Tensor chip is the culprit or if the departure of @marclevoy led to this youtu.be/coX4duwUCpw?si=lojJ…

Sony is trolling 😂
The new AI Camera Assistant* with Xperia Intelligence brings stories to life. Using subject, scene and weather, it suggests expressive options with adjustments of colour, exposure, bokeh, and lens for breathtaking photos*. sony.co.jp/en/xperia-1m8/s/ #SonyXperia #Xperia1VIII

I still haven’t unboxed these two yet. I was going to gift this to my sister but bought her a Pixel 9 Pro XL instead. She’s getting a better display, better cameras, more RAM, and a premium build. She’ll be missing out on the Pixel 2a buds, 1 less year of Pixel drops, and faster charging. Both have the same chip.

This Royal Crimson color on the S26 Ultra case by Thinborne reminds me of the Crimson Moto Mod Style Shell. But instead of fabric it’s Aramid fiber 🔥

I can see Nothing phones being sold in T-Mobile stores. It’s different. It stands out. The 4(a) looks extremely cool and doesn’t have a flagship price. I’ve never tried a Nothing phone but I’m tempted for the first time. I don’t care about the cameras as much, as this is a midrange phone. What I care about is the presentation, UI experience, software reliability, security and features.

I remember going to the OnePlus pop ups and just analyzing the fans who were there. It was just regular people who wanted something different. The OnePlus community was a place for tech and outsiders. I don’t think the company understood how important it was for so many people. Carl Pei managed to capture the same audience.

Scary times we’re living in… I think smartphone manufactures are using similar camera sensors and modifying the camera software to make it seem the change they are marketing is real. And influencers/reviewers are milking it. Every year it’s: “I like this darker photo, it’s true to life” “I like this brighter photo, it lets more light in” “Photos look identical but let’s crop in and admire the details which we still can’t completely recognize” “I like skin details” “I like the professional skin smoothening effects”

My initial thoughts of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra cameras? Influencers who got the device early exaggerated about the cameras. I am extremely disappointed. - S25 selfie video is better - S26 selfie photos are better - Main cameras are similar - Speakers sound better on the 26 - 4k HDR YouTube videos look slightly better on the 26 with colors - More sharpening on the 26 - Indoor low light tests was mixed between the 25 and 26. I was shocked that some s25 shots had words more easily readable.

It’s unfortunate most phones with the best smartphone camera sensors are unavailable in the USA.

The best sensors prioritize physical size over megapixels for superior light, DR, and low-light performance. **Primary (main):** 50MP 1-inch Sony LYT-900/equivalent (Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Vivo X300 series) – still unmatched in 2026 for overall image quality. **Ultrawide:** 50MP ~1/2.5" with AF (Samsung S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 17 Ultra). **Telephoto/periscope:** 200MP 1/1.4" (Xiaomi 17 Ultra) or similar large ones in Vivo/Oppo Ultras for best zoom detail. OnePlus 16 rumor (200MP main ~1/1.56" 50MP periscope) offers great cropped detail but smaller sensors mean weaker low-light/DR vs true 1-inch mains or 200MP teles. Larger sensors win for "best images."

It started with the Samsung Galaxy S2. Now the show continues with the Galaxy S26 Ultra 🎬 Let’s see what these cameras can do…

Just received the brand new Google Pixel 10a ‼️Sleek design, good camera, and that G4 Tensor chip from last years Pixel 9a is slightly optimized. I paired it with the Pixel Buds 2a for the full vibe. Who's on a budget and interested in the 10a? Drop your thoughts! 🔥📱 #Pixel10a #GooglePixel @madebygoogle @Google This post was generated by Grok and modified by Altered tech. He only bought it because of the great trade-in deal and free buds.

I give up on the 8-bit display vs. 10-bit display on the Galaxy S26 Ultra argument 🤦‍♂️ And I’m going to sleep. Samsung already has my money.

If Samsung ordered 10-bit displays from a display manufacturer and found out they were sold 8-bit displays, do you think they would be happy 😂 I can't believe some YouTubers are gaslighting angry buyers.

I’m not happy at all about this. The S26 Ultra is actually 8-bit NOT 10-bit. I would’ve cancelled my order and bought a OnePlus 15 but OnePlus downgraded their cameras.
Samsung finally caught up to OnePlus with the 10-bit display. Let's see if the cameras are the real deal or just hype‼️ My order has been placed 🧾 Going to sell the Pixel 10a with the Pixel 2a headphones if anyone is interested. $400 for both. Brand new. Sealed.

Samsung really needs to bring back the microSD slot — or at least give us a legit way to slap in 1TB of fast portable storage on flagships. Log video is awesome, but you’re absolutely torching the internal SSD with constant heavy writes and filling up space FAST. I’m not about to lug around some massive YouTuber rig… at that point just hand me a real cinema camera. Come on @SamsungMobile, creators need more than this. 💾🎥 Who’s with me? 🔥 #Samsung #Galaxy #MicroSD #BringBackSDCard #MobileVideo #galaxycreators

This is what Carl Pei was waiting for: the emergence of AI He will be able to run an entire smartphone company with a fraction of the required number of employees. His team will use AI to bolster his camera software. He is turning up his advertising at just the right time. 2026 is his take off year 🚀
