Ok and? So who is this Zack guy? Again using info ONLY from FF7 Remake and nothing else.
Mind you if you play OG FF7 you get the story that mattes for this "Zack" character in the same game he debuts in, in FF7 Retrilogy his story is now needlessly spread across 3 games over the span of 7 years with some tacked on fanfic level bullshit and as of writing this tweet it still hasn't resolved yet.
FF7 fans who are saying the remake series is not a good entry point are either just purists who hates the whole existence of FF7R or they think the remake series is a sequel to the OG game which is not. I played Remake first and had no problems then went on to play OG.

No it fucking wasn't, Nomura was removed from FFXV in Dec 2013 which is also when the Business Divisions were formed
That Nomura quote is from Oct 2014 where he talked about pouring the same burning anger he had during KH1 into KH3, nothing to do with FFXV

That 1st quote is from Tomohiro Hasegawa during FFXV's media blitz, not Nomura
Tomohiro Hasegawa put together the 1st Versus XIII planning document in 2003 and was the Versus XIII art director, then on the FFXV art direction team through to final release.
