if you ever traded spot on cexs, you might find tis megaeth app interesting
explored @_canonic today, the first spot dex exchange on the rabbit chain and here are some things i find out:
- it is a fully onchain spot order book
- there's zero maker fees
- a passive lp vault with gud apy
- first dex to use a midpoint anchored orderbook (?)
built on a user friendly interface, a normie can easily navigate (safe to say, the first innovative app on mega)
so, i did few swaps on their, using the market order (no quids limit), then provided liquidity, which are basically the main features of the app
unfortunately, only few pairs can be traded their rn, and hoping they expand their wings soon
will be exploring more on the maob thing, then use it at an advantage (obviously the only =ev rpoject)
nfa, but check tis one out and let me know your view on it
rounding up my activities on megaeth for tis week, and here are few stuff i clicked today
- started with exploring some wave 4 apps, provided (usdt0/usdm) liquidity on @SectorOneDEX , did few swaps and gave a feedback
- played only two games @stompdotgg and @Showdown_TCG (lost a poker game), just these two are fascinating to start with (spent hours with stomp)
- made regular interaction on prism and kumbaya, while providing liquidity for stcUSD/usdm and mega/usdm
- interacted with caonic exchange, that uses a maob which let you trade specific tokens (tis one is cool)
- bridged using the rabbit hole and the fee there is quite lesser compared to listed dex apps on @megaeth
- finally getting hold of a strategy around mega terminal, took me a while to understand
- still here, exploring outside the chain (opensea ad some little tesnet and daily checkin)

A year ago, many people believed fully onchain spot order books couldn’t compete on execution quality.
Today, Canonic is quoting tighter spreads than major venues on selected pairs — fully onchain.

Canonic is an interesting story and one I'm happy to see included as a spot DEX.
DeFi OG trader pioneering a new design (MAOB) and has got to a place where they offer some of the tightest spreads on Mega and compete with Coinbase/Binance.
