CalyxOS 5.0.2 - Android 14 is now available for the Pixel 5 series, Fold and Tablet
We're also working on the Pixel 8, and porting Android 14 to the Pixel 4, 4a, and #Fairphone 4. Also will be releasing builds for several other new phones soon... 🤖

AOSP has excellent documentation at source.android.com/ - it'd be good to have some more info there on Project Mainline modules as well.

Although Google publishes the source code for each Project Mainline module, that doesn't mean you can always cleanly build them from AOSP.
Case in point: when @_cdesai was building the new Mainline modules, he ran into this error when the MediaProvider module was being built...

I've left open source projects after getting tired of arguing with maintainers.
There really is a fine line between just letting anything through vs not making it this hard to get a change merged.

Thanks so much for posting about this.
I saw something similar in an AOSP merge recently, and this most likely explains it.
Linus on #LKML explained why commands like "git log foo/bar/baz.c" sometimes omit commits: lore.kernel.org/all/CAHk-=wj…
In short: they use a _simplified_ history, in the actual case caused by a mis-merge of Linus he now fixed with git.kernel.org/torvalds/c/1a…

The past week since getting the Pixel 7 Pro has basically been this:
- receive notification with vibration
- long press, go to the notification settings, disable vibration for it
- examine other notification channels for the same app, disable vibration
- repeat for other apps

This response, unfortunately, is not good enough. The latest response by Meta that instagram.workplace\.com is a free trial account created by someone on October 13 to manufacture evidence for a claim made by @thewire_in is a very specific response and not a 'wild claim'.
