I’m hiring a Staff Software Engineer – Open Source at SigNoz.
Open source is not an afterthought at SigNoz.
It’s literally what we set out to build. 💛
We believe the future of observability is open source. Every team – not just FAANG-scale companies – should have access to great tooling to understand what’s happening in their systems. Making it open source is how we democratize that access.
To double down on this, we are hiring a Staff Software Engineer – Open Source at SigNoz.
- You’ll own making the SigNoz OSS experience delightful for developers:
- Build an integration framework so devs can easily build & share integrations
- Make the self-hosted setup experience smoother, faster, less “read the docs 5 times”
- Help shape an ecosystem around SigNoz – integrations, plugins, examples, recipes
👉 Who might be a great fit?
- 4–8 years experience in backend engineering (Go preferred)
- Loves open-source products (past OSS contributions highly preferred)
- Comfortable with locks/channels/concurrency in Go
- Understands (or is excited to go deep into) the observability domain
- Has been or wants to be a founder in B2B/devtools space (big plus)
- Can drive things end-to-end – from product discovery → design → implementation → launch
Your north star : grow SigNoz open-source adoption
Not just “write code” – but ship things that move the OSS flywheel.
