Israel just kidnapped a 20yr old Palestinian student, taking her hostage. She wonโt be called a hostage & she wonโt be reported on in the US bc sheโs Palestinian.
Had Palestinian forces took an Israeli civilian hostage โ would be front page news in every mainstream media outlet.

๐บ๐ธ ๐ต๐ธ Sama Safi, a 20-year-old American citizen and honors psychology student at Birzeit University, remains in Israeli detention after soldiers seized her from her familyโs home near Ramallah at 3 a.m. on June 2, with lawmakers warning her life is at risk.
Safi, whose family lives in Florida, was taken without charge and transferred to Ofer prison, then to the Moscovia interrogation center in Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisonersโ Society. Her family says she has a chronic condition that causes fevers up to 105ยฐF and requires daily medication and a quarterly injection she travels abroad to receive.
She was one of five Palestinian women detained that week, including two members of the Palestinian womenโs national football team. The Israeli military said the women were suspected of โpromoting terrorist activities.โ
Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Sen. Chris Van Hollen have both demanded her release. โI am really sick and tired of the Israeli government taking American taxpayer dollars and then mistreating Americans,โ Van Hollen said. Israel has not told her family or the U.S. embassy where she is being held. Rep. Tlaib said, โHer life is at riskโour government must free her now!โ

The British legal system allows for activists to be sentenced as terrorists without a terrorism charge on the whim of a judge, who kept the jury in the dark about their conviction for criminal damage being repackaged at sentencing, gagged the defendants on presenting motive, gagged the defence on referring to jury equity in closing or from informing the jury that the judge cannot force them to convict, ruled that the terms โgenocideโ and โethnic cleansingโ could not be used in court, ordered the defendantsโ own notebooks and writings redacted to remove references to Elbitโs arms supply to Israel, dismissed an abuse of process application which documented meetings between Elbit, Home Office, Attorney General and the Israeli Embassy concerning the prosecutions, remanded three of the four convicted defendants in custody between verdict and sentence without support from the prosecution, and restricted the entire British press for the better part of a year from reporting on his own pre-trial rulings on the terrorism connection, the restrictions on defence motive evidence and that he referred the defence for contempt after his closing address in the first trial, a first in British legal history.
Iโm struck by the fact that very few in the politico-media elite of this country seem to care just how much this degree of subservience to and connivance with murderous foreign interests (the United States and its genocidal satellite state) undermines the political legitimacy of the judiciary and the state as a whole. In fact, those who donโt actively support this (too many to count) seem perfectly happy in their complacency.

BREAKING: Justice Jeremy Johnson has ruled that the Filton 4 will be sentenced as terrorists โ even though two juries refused to convict them of violence charges over their efforts to disable an Israeli factory in the UK making killer drones for use in Gaza. They were found guilty of a minor charge of criminal damage.
Judge Johnson kept the jury in the dark of his plans to sentence the four as terrorists. This is the first time in British legal history that anyone has been sentenced as a terrorist for damaging property. It's a very dark moment in an increasingly authoritarian Britain.
Thousands of legal professionals complained about Johnson's clear abuses of legal procedures to help the government's case for proscribing Palestine Action as a terrorist group.
Johnson has now proved this was always a show trial.
