Now these are facts
As a Luo this is where I have a problem with ODM and its propaganda.
This party which has failed to capture power multiple times capitalised on GenZ protests to get to the table.
They saw a backdoor and grabbed it.
In politics, thats fair game- the objective is power.
What I find repulsive is the narrative that this was a win for Luos. It wasnt.
This was a win for Raila, his relatives and his cronies.
I find it interesting that Luo politicians have taken this attack on Kikuyus so personally. Even Kalenjins who have voted severally with Kikuyus , and who risk being “out of government” if Ruto loses in 2027 have not been this vile against the mountain.
Yes, we Luos have our historical grievances. We have been killed, insulted and degraded by the Kikuyu political class every election cycle.
What I have always wanted is justice: not retribution.
I do not want other communities to be insulted like Luos have.
I do not want other communities killed like Luos have.
I do not want other communities sidelined from the national cake like Luos have, for decades.
And that includes Kikuyus with whom we have deep political grievances.
If Nelson Mandela chose retribution against the apartheid govermnent, South Africa’s story might have been very different.
As long as ODM celebrates Ruto’s merciless abductions and killings without calling out injustices, please say ODM. NOT LUOS.
As long as you keep preaching that the quest to hold this government accountable “is not our war”, excuse me, I am still seeking accountability as I always have since I first voted in 2002.
I refuse to be part of a narcissistic retribution machine that will sink this country into anarchy to cling to power.
Play your politics using your real name, ODM. Stop dragging entire communities into it.
I hate corruption, exclusion and bloodshed, and will always stand against it, no matter who is at the table.
