Celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for Melly’s Market and Cafe in @TownofWhitby Whitby. Melly’s celebrates employees of all abilities and contributes to the culture of inclusion for people with disabilities. The cafe is located at 1022 Brock Street South.

My thoughts go out to the families and friends of the two officers who lost their lives last night after a shooting in @townofinnisfil. I am deeply saddened by this act of violence. My condolences to all those impacted by this tragedy.

A Tree Dedication Ceremony was held this morning at @TownofWhitby to honour Whitby's longest serving Mayor, Bob Attersley. Bob held the positions of Deputy Reeve, Councillor, Regional Councillor and then Mayor from 1980-1991. Thank you for everything Bob. We miss you.
