I do not draw. 100% of my comics are SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) generated by code. As part of my November "Build in Public" challenge with @MeetKevon, I will show you how I do this. For today, here's a little teaser.

Hey Ed nice seeing you in the timeline.
U were the cool 58 yo programmer years ago.
How much cooler have u gotten now?
Your book Best of edw519 has always been inspiring!
We code faster, not slower. We solve the business problem on the first try, the code is clean, it doesn't have to be refactored and the solution isn't over-engineered.
I’m glad I joined Twitter after my first developer job.
Some pieces of advice and roadmaps from here would’ve confused me badly.
When you’re a beginner it’s difficult to discern good information from bad information. Be aware who/what you follow!
I once stared at a piece of code for 15 minutes trying to figure out what "par" meant.
Eventually I realized it was "parent".
Someone saved 50ms by not typing "ent". The savings was paid for by 15 mins of frustration.
Don't abbreviate. Thinking is more expensive than typing.
I think one of the most destructive myths in software is that it costs more or takes longer to develop higher-quality code. IME, the higher the quality, the faster the development goes. You cannot be fast if you can't trust your code.
Bugs do not appear by magic. Somebody was paid to write them. Somebody was encouraged to work in a way that bugs would be created. The inevitability of bugs (beyond a very small number) is a myth. Their presence reflects the culture.
