Who wants to help maintain Hype, a fork of PHP with me? Let's fork and rebrand PHP. It's ready to scale for the modern web but it's not socially ready to be adopted by the masses. I argue if we JUST change the name and rebrand - we can change the future of the whole ecosystem.

Another proof that PHP has a problem. On vacation in Gran Canaria, I've just met two 18-yr-old guys from UK. They both confirmed that all unis/bootcamps/high-schools in UK are starting with Python and JavaScript. No PHP in sight. Doubling my motivation to do smth about it.
