Democratizing Access to Foundation Model Internals
The enormous scale of state-of-the-art foundation models has limited their accessibility to scientists, because customized experiments at large model sizes require costly hardware and complex engineering
The National Deep Inference Fabric #NDIF, an @NSF-funded AI research infrastructure project, is awarding 2024 **Summer Engineering Fellowships** in Boston.
These are summer visiting positions, for current or recent PhD or undergrads, including stipend, travel and housing costs.
I am delighted to officially announce the National Deep Inference Fabric project, #NDIF.

NDIF is an @NSF-supported computational infrastructure project to help YOU advance the science of large-scale AI.
The best collaboration established at @ICSEconf 2024 is with @_jon_bell_ 🥂 Here's the moment when Student Mentoring Workshop (SMeW) Steering Committee was born! 💫🌱💕 Our main job is to make sure SMeW becomes a traditional ICSE track and happens every year! It's official now!🥳
Currently chairing #icse2024 session on testing. Second most popular area, second smallest room. Hooray for our area - barely room to sit on the floor!
please consider signing up as a student mentor if you're coming to ICSE!! We'll pair you up with students to meet during the ICSE week. What's more fun than that? 🥰

Does @gradescope have any customer support channels? The past week, my 360 students' programming assignments take 20 minutes just to launch the container to run my grading script. I've sent many emails, no response, wait times only getting worse.
Are there any other authors for @ICSEconf artifacts who received reviews that do not follow the posted artifact reviewing guidelines, and are having trouble reaching the AEC chairs?
Received a very brief 5 sentence review on Weds, of which the summary is: 'tldr.' (didn't like the details in the README). We posted a response immediately by email to chairs, also posted to HotCRP yesterday, haven't heard anything back. A pattern, or just me?
