Stanford transfer Derin Saran is returning to UC Irvine, per @JonRothstein.
The 6โ4โ sophomore PG battled injuries this season and only appeared in 5 games.
Saran started off at UC Irvine as a freshman where he averaged 10.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists during the 2023-24 season.
