This version of #afrobeats is approaching its sunset.Somewhere in the noise, a new sound is brewing I can’t quite name it yet, and I can’t tell you who will carry it, but I can feel its presence. Sometimes I hear it in passing unfinished, unfamiliar, restless. #NigeriaWorks

Nigeria may not be rebuilt by those who escaped it…but by those who grew up seeing what a working system looks like. The generation that may eventually transform Nigeria might not be the one currently living in Nigeria. And that’s not an insult. It’s a structural reality.

they may bring back ideas, resources, and institutional thinking that could accelerate Nigeria’s transformation. Nigeria might become globally respected through its diaspora before it becomes fully functional at home. The diaspora might become the bridge. Just a thought.

“This Morning Around 4:30am, Near Fagba Railway In Lagos, I Encountered 4 Police Officers. They Had Stopped About 3 Cars On The Railway, But None Of Them Stopped Me. I Had Already Driven Past Them When I Suddenly Heard a Loud Noise At The Back Of My Car. One Of The Officers Picked Up a Stone From The Ground And Threw It At My Car, Hitting It And Breaking My Rear Chrome. I Stepped Down From The Car And Noticed The Officer Appeared Drunk. I Asked Him Why He Would Do That As a Professional Police Officer. Instead Of Responding Calmly, He Became Aggressive And Started Fighting Me”. ~ Man Cries Out

Grateful to God for the creativity and grace He’s blessed me with 🙏🏽. Every day I’m reminded that these gifts are not just for me, but to create, inspire, and open doors. The journey continues 🖤🎩
