How good is a new Beatles song going to be if it stayed in the can for *checks notes* more than 50 years?

I'm sure I'm missing out on some Very Important Lesson about our economy and our species, but that crypto dude Sam Something Hyphenated who's on trial right now? Can't be bothered to care even a scintilla about that. Like, might as well be cricket scores.

Lithophone, originally a pre-historic musical instrument consisting of a rock or pieces of rock which are struck to produce musical notes. This was one of the lessons I learned in altweeklies—search court records on *everybody*. Probably there's nothing, or nothing germane, but every now and then you learn something very surprising and useful! And anyone can do it.

My latest: The breakup of IUPUI has led Purdue to offer tenured professors “university tenure,” outside an academic department. Is it a good way forward for changing institutions, or an insult? chronicle.com/article/a-50-y…
