This feels like being at the funeral of someone who might be faking their death? Anyway, in case it's for real: instagram.com/_lisli/ tinyletter.com/lisayoder I used to have a blog. Maybe I will again someday.

And here we are 5 years later and I still feel the same way about consumer DNA tests, and apparently the entire board of 23andMe now agrees. Massive yikes incoming.
Please don’t take consumer DNA tests. Please don’t give consumer DNA tests as gifts. You can’t control how the results will be used in the future and the results can affect the rest of your family. nytimes.com/2019/11/05/busin…

ADORE today's @lashleykirkland cnf; haven't stopped thinking about this detail: "Our parents would come to visit and stand in the front yard. We’d hold the new baby, like Simba, up for them to see on the front porch before going back inside to be alone…" havehashad.com/hadposts/this…

I don't know how to use this platform anymore. But I'm really excited to share what I'm working on. I'm making a whole damn documentary with some really talented Alabamians. I can't wait to share more. showmetheline.com/

I love seeing people’s book stacks for the year, but do the people who do this not use the library?

Really awful news from overnight. If Harrisburg folks know/when they learn how we can show support, I’m eager to hear. The City of Harrisburg gives so much to as a state and as legislators; we ought to stand ready to support them. Thank you to the firefighters!

If it were really the weather as we all keep hearing, it would have affected all airlines equally. Other terminals at SFO were calm and normal. @united's was chaos for literal days.

Same but I’m stuck in Chicago where we can’t go outside because of the smoke. An employee of @united told me they had their system crash but were told to keep telling customers it’s the weather.
