🚨 🇬🇧 Privacy is a fundamental human right.
My iPhone has been acting really weird lately. It also seems as tho it’s updated without my full consent.
The UK Puppet government also want to scan everything that u send to iCloud.
As you may not be aware records have been hacked as easy as eating mashed potatoes, we all know those clowns are unable to keep your data secure (or don’t want to) if you decide you don’t want to take that risk you can do this.
You can control exactly what gets synced to iCloud — go into Settings, tap your name at the top, then iCloud, and you’ll see toggles for Photos, Messages, Contacts, everything. Turn off what you don’t want backed up.
Advanced Data Protection was the thing that gave you end-to-end encryption on those backups, but since Apple disabled it in the UK, whatever you do send up there can now be accessed by Apple — and potentially handed over to authorities if they ask.
If you want to be really safe, just don’t send anything sensitive to iCloud at all. Use local backups on a computer instead.
The government are not your friends, and have NEVER BEEN.
