Hey @SFMTA_Muni: often I want to get from Golden Gate Park to the Presidio or Fisherman's Wharf, but there is no route. Here's a suggestion to merge the 2, the 43, and the 44 into two L-shaped routes that offer better routes for passengers like me and many others. 🚍

Alternatively, there are other ways to address the north end of the 43. It could end in Presidio Heights like the 2, or it could even continue north and east as the 45. The main thing I want is a direct connection from the de Young / Academy of Sciences to Fort Mason.

Love the federal grant for #ThePortalSF. Next we need to start engineering the Alameda / Mission Bay / Geary @SFBART! #Link21 #transit google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1…
A second Transbay Tube is currently being envisioned by the #Link21 program. In 2024, Link 21 will decide whether to propose the crossing as @SFBART or Regional Rail (@Caltrain/@CapitolCorridor) A 2nd crossing would both transform BART’s map and alleviate its biggest bottleneck

The most sensible alignment for the new BART line is below Second Street, which is also the alignment for The Portal. Can we build The Portal with forward compatibility in mind like the train box underneath Salesforce TC? tjpa.org/portaldtx/about-por…

Also for future compatibility: the western terminus of the tube should have a connection for a future Potrero Hill / Noe Valley branch.

Talked to the station agent at W. Oak station today. The fare gates haven't stopped fare evasion; people still muscle through, and while I stood there I witnessed a tailgator. Let's solve the problem, but this type of fare gate doesn't do the job. @SFBART #transit

I'm super excited for my first title to be live on Kickstarter! We blew past our funding target in 12 hours and are working toward the stretch goal. Back on Kickstarter to receive not only Jewels but also its companion card Frozen Shinies by @ZovuGames and a PENGUIN PLUSHIE! 🐧🎲
Game friends, today we launched Jewels for the Emperor Penguin on Kickstarter! It's a board game about leading your Penguin Guild up icy slopes to find and bring back the jewelry your sovereign covets. Fully funded in just under 12 hours! kickstarter.com/projects/jef…

Frozen Shinies is a great game and I'm excited to see it alongside Jewels for the Emperor Penguin! Another reason to back the campaign and promote it to your network.
My card game, Frozen Shinies, is on Kickstarter now (along with another game, Jewels for the Emperor Penguin). If you're looking for a quick and easy card game that still has meaningful choices, check out Frozen Shinies! kickstarter.com/projects/jef…

Just wanted to say that I absolutely love @SFBART's new 20-minute scheduling. It makes it *so* much easier to ride BART at the times I ride it most. Within a few minutes I either get the train I want or a train I can ride to transfer to the train I want.

It was incredible to see the first Unicode Technology Workshop come together! We packed the agenda with topics from Scripts to Keyboards and ICU4X to Emoji. Attendees came away with the network, skills, and inspiration to build new products, tools, and libraries for global users.

Wish that @SFBART would eliminate the excursion fare. Last Friday the trains were extremely slow and late so I exited for an Uber instead, and I was charged $6.40 which is more than almost any BART fare. There should be a 30-min grace period at least. @RebeccaForBART

Savvy @SFBART riders know these hacks for better weekend transfers: 1) SB Orange to SF: if timed transfer fails at MacArthur (10-20%), keep riding and transfer at Lake Merritt 2) NB Orange to SFO: arrive 30 minutes quicker by transferring at 12th Street (tight connection) ...

3) SFO to Berryessa: transfer at 12th Street (tight connection but not as tight as the other direction) Note: these tips may be obsolete when the new 20-minute timetable rolls out on September 11. Looking forward to that!

Yeah, these hacks are mostly obsolete after September 11: missed MacArthur transfers should just wait for the red line, and time is cut from an already tight 12th Street transfer. Good news is that most of the time you get to your destination faster with 20-minute headways!
