God is love (1 John 4:8)—yet His holy wrath burns against unrepentant evil, as in Noah’s flood, Sodom’s fire, and Revelation’s judgments.
This is not contradiction, but perfect justice protecting what is good.
The Cross bridges both: Christ absorbed God’s wrath so we could receive His mercy.
Repent, believe, and walk in love. Turn from sin—He stands ready with open arms.
'The Lord... is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.' (2 Peter 3:9)

Matthew 5:5 "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth."
The meek are not weak, as many assume.
The meek are lions with perfect control — powerful enough to roar and destroy, yet choosing restraint, kindness, and love instead.
In a world addicted to aggression and revenge, the meek refuse to become what they fight against. Their strength is under control. Their power is Godlike.
And because of that… they will inherit the earth.
Strength under control. Love that refuses to break.

Consequences of Pride
The Bible repeatedly warns that pride precedes destruction:
“Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.” — Proverbs 16:18
Pride is a sin that leads to downfall and separates us from God — He opposes the proud.
Yet humility brings His favor and honor.
May we choose the lower path of surrender, for it leads to life and the Lord’s blessing. 🙏

In Acts 20:24, Paul refused to let chains, fear, or the opinions of men stop him.
He declared:
“I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
In the end, he could boldly say,
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
The Apostle Paul was given to us as a living example.
He shows us how to break the chains of bondage, press on through every storm, and finish our course with joy.
The same grace that empowered him is available to you.
Consider what chains is the Lord asking you to leave behind so you can run your race and fulfill the destiny He has prepared for you.

As we follow the One who sets us free, we are invited to release every chain and trust the path ahead.
