The Federal Government has declared war on illegal admissions into Nigeria’s tertiary institutions, warning universities, polytechnics and colleges of education that any admission conducted outside the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System, CAPS, would be treated as unlawful and attract stiff sanctions, including possible suspension of operating licences.

1️⃣ 🔥 Nigerian politics is entering a serious repositioning phase ahead of 2027. Today’s biggest lesson? Control the structure. Control the future. 🧵👇

6️⃣ 👉 The key issue inside ADC is not ideology. It is STRUCTURE. Who controls: the party machinery candidate selection state executives primaries Because in Nigerian politics: who controls the structure often controls the ticket.

7️⃣ Notice how serious the crisis has become: Even the request to move the case to another judge caused major controversy. 💥 That shows something important: Courts are now deeply connected to political power struggles.

Legacy of the Servant Leader: H.E. Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, 16 Years On Today marks 16 years since our nation lost a dear hero, an icon of integrity, a selfless patriot, and a man I was privileged to call not just my boss, but my brother and worthy partner in service. As I reflect on the passing of President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, I am reminded of the shared passion we both held for a Nigeria where justice is not a slogan, but a lived reality for every citizen. Our partnership was anchored on a common vision: to build an inclusive, united, and just nation. Yar’Adua was a man of quiet but profound conviction who believed that the strength of a country is measured by its commitment to the rule of law and the sanctity of the ballot. He did not just lead; he served with a humility that is rare in the corridors of power, often putting national stability above personal or political gain. His record in peace-building stands as an enduring legacy. He understood that true nation-building requires the courage to admit flaws and the sincerity to fix them. For leaders, the life of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua serves as an enduring lesson. His example teaches us that leadership is a sacred trust, and that progress is only sustainable when it is rooted in transparency, accountability, and a genuine love for the people. Sixteen years later, his strides continue to testify for him. As we remember this "Gentleman President," let us rededicate ourselves to the worthy causes he pursued with such passion. I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) continues to grant him eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus. -GEJ

There was a popular leader everyone liked. But meetings ended in confusion. Nothing moved. A quiet member started organizing tasks without asking for permission. Slowly, things started working again. People didn’t notice the shift at first. But results made it obvious.

Namibia cleared its last IMF debt, retired a $750M Eurobond, and launched the Welwitschia Fund to turn resources into real citizen wealth, choosing freedom over strings. Meanwhile, Nigeria’s government keeps stacking more loans despite the heavy consequences. One is breaking chains, the other is adding links. Africa’s future belongs to the disciplined.
🇳🇦 BREAKING: Namibia just paid off its entire IMF debt. Zero balance. $23.8 million repaid. No new loans. No new conditions. Freedom. While other nations drown in IMF austerity, Namibia walked out. No more structural adjustment. No more neoliberal lectures. No more foreign control over economic policy. This is what sovereignty looks like. Paying your debts. Refusing new ones. Charting your own path. Namibia is free. Other African nations should take notes. Question for the timeline: Which African country should be next to tell the IMF goodbye?

Very pathetic! the real question is: when do the trucks start carrying solutions instead of just rice?
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu flags off distribution of 100 trucks of rice, N1.2bn palliatives to northern states and FCT
