As a student. During my PhD. As post-doc & also now. Somehow I "found" the right person at the right time. It evolved into an amazing mentorship. I am forever grateful for all the advice they gave me & still do.
Everyone needs a mentor.

It's the largest strike in the US since 2019.
Many UC workers earn < $24k/yr. A PhD student I spoke to said they donate blood plasma to make ends meet.
