On the heels of $TRLV's speedy NYSE listing, how long will it be until credit cards are allowed in dispensaries. It seems absurd that $TRLV can trade on the NYSE, but you can't use a credit card in their dispensary. Credit cards could produce the growth the industry needs.

My latest post explores this and examines another industry that suddenly added credit cards: fast food chains in the early 2000s. Growth exploded after credit cards were available. And if growth returns to cannabis, investors should start to really pay attention.

I love participating on this platform, but there are some very angry, toxic people here. I often mute them, but also block. Be polite, engage with good faith, otherwise, please follow someone else. Don't be one of those people who only contributes to current hostile environment.

Congratulations Trulieve and @rivers_kim on your NYSE listing. This is truly a pioneering effort to mainstream cannabis into the financial system. Keep up the great work and keep going!

Six months ago, the trading in $HQI was absurd as the stock was sold hard into the end of the year on capital loss harvesting and confusion around the $TBI bid. Stock buyback announced and now the stock is up 80% from the lows in 6 months.

One of the largest cannabis companies in the world by revenue, $VREOD, has traded a little over 2,000 shares today. Even after $TRLV trades on the NYSE, almost all cannabis stocks are little more than private companies with weird OTC trading stubs. A lot of patience is required.

Cannabis extracts and the future of medicine. This is a great study that should give the White House ammo to continue to push with their CMS pilot.
A new study found that "medical cannabis extracts can be meaningfully beneficial for cancer-related symptoms in approximately 50% of patients, particularly for sleep and related symptoms." marijuanamoment.net/marijuan…

International canna markets seem to be a forced issue for many US cos & investors. Hardly anyone is asking whether they’re worth pursuing in the first place; the assumption is that it’s easy money and everyone “needs” to get involved. It's bizarre considering how positively rescheduling will affect most US markets - there is more than enough alpha to be captured here. Yeah I like doing international business and think there are certain opportunities there, but don't get it twisted...the US is the world's largest consumer market, by many multiples when it comes to cannabis. And for the most part our regulatory environments markets are far more amicable than any other country. It's a totally different game in many ways. If you view EU/etc markets as an easy gimmie, you're likely not going to do well abroad.

Down cycles aren’t an exception in cannabis. They’re the audit. In a new @IgniteItNews piece, CEO @ObieStrickler shares an operator-led perspective on building through pricing pressure by staying focused on cost, yield, quality, sell-through and people. bit.ly/4g5xTgr

I have come to not trust the data from excitable tweets like this. I have a child on the spectrum & there is a 4 year wait for his occupational therapist & there is a severe lack of services in my area. I think this may be like realtors where people maybe do part time work & aren't really active.
In 2019, there were about 150,000 people working in autism therapy. Six years later, there were 654,000—more than the number of people who work in mining and logging, or telecommunications, or at the US Postal Service.

One of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen: a standing ovation for the full Daraxonrasib results I feel inspired and energised, to put it mildly — we have a targeted therapy for pancreatic cancer now, and nothing is undruggable anymore

Saturday was another gorgeous day at Salisbury Canyon Ranch. At full scale, Salisbury Canyon Ranch spans roughly 136 football fields and will produce enough oil one person high every day for 10 million years. The opening shot shows the first 65 acres (approximately 2.8 million square feet) of cannabis currently in production. We are about two months into the season, and these plants are expected to be ready for harvest in roughly four weeks, and will run through our extraction lines in Q3. Next, I hike up the hill for an overhead view of the phase two expansion project, which will add an additional 115 acres (approximately 5.0 million square feet), and for the 2027 season we will run our full 180-acre (approximately 7.8 million square feet) permit. The strategy is simple: grow clean cannabis at approximately $8 per pound, run more of it through our extraction facilities, and continue driving higher margins and better products. $LEEF $LEEEF

Mindset Capital now owns over 12% of of LEEF Brands ($LEEEF). We think investors do not understand the scale and ambitions of the company that may eventually become the largest cannabinoid producer in the world.
