Yo @figma a Pro full user seat is $16/mo. MCP can't use design files that have custom fonts w/o Org level. So to use an MCP you are forced to upgrade at $55/each seat for full users. Any plan to have an LLM user for this specific issue? Kind of expensive to justify to a small biz

It's pretty crazy that @wordpress has a slack org that has 55K users. Is that the largest slack org?

As a paying customer, @SEMRush is kinda garbage huh? I can see why @Adobe bought it. Team has been using it for a few years, first time I logged in since purchasing it for them and it's basically upsell after upsell. It completely falls in line with their other offerings

It's that time of year again where some random new "Rep" that the team has never spoken to from @wpengine cold emails because they see "Elevated Usage" on an account an immediately tries to upsell to a larger account.

The WordPress community has a visibility-to-competence ratio problem. The loudest voices aren’t always building products of any real substance. Posting frequency, podcast appearances, and conference stages don’t tell you how big the business actually is. Some of the most visible people here run companies that aren’t nearly as successful as their personal brand suggests. Building a real product, not a feature with a landing page, is harder and slower than building an audience. Post count is not a proxy for competence. Worth keeping in mind when you’re deciding who to learn from.

A danger I see in vibe coding for non hobby projects, is users saying "Make me this" and it "works" for them from very limited use, but they don't ask "how can I exploit or abuse this or that". They assume AI will "think" about or solve those things automatically & it does not

You realize how much @WordPress has helps devs create products including SAAS when you understand how much of burden is taken away when you develop something outside of it. Auth, User mgmt, content types, organization, etc. Just things you take for granted that you have to build

What are some Artists/Bands/Groups that you like now but you completely slept on when they were active. One of mine is Blackalicious. I listen to a lot of Hip-Hop and just never really gave them a real listen til after streaming become a thing

I don't really want to pay for X but is that really the only way you can actually be seen outside of some "random viral moment". It seems like yelling into the ether on this platform

What's everyone using for product demo recording? I assume there are some pretty crazy options for taking clips or screenshots and turning that into some marketing clips

Content types in WordPress has always been done by 3rd-party plugins built for the pre-block editor paradigm. I decided to show you how we should bring modern, AI-native content modeling to WordPress, in this very alpha prototype:

Any rich benevolent benefactors want to invest in or buy a SAAS I'm 🤏 to releasing. FYI: No AAR, zero paying customers... yet... Not very competitive market, My friends think it's cool. I am the only one still creating SAAS products? Get in on the ground floor DM me half JK

I assume there is some sort of marketing tactic to it, but I get emails where people, bots and spam use Arron vs Aaron which still surprises me after the @KeyAndPeele sketch from years back #AeeAeeRon

Being in your early 40s is weird, man. People around your age are in every stage of life. You have people who are grandparents. You have people who have newborns. You have people dating 25-year-olds. You have people celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. Some of them look 60, and some of them look 30. All the bases are covered when you are in your early 40s.

.@clickup with all your focus on AI, can we take a step back & just make it so doing a search for a task by custom key is instant or near instant like it used to be? NO need to bring an AI agent into it. Just do an exact match & maybe a little fuzzy match if you wanna get fancy

A search for an exact key, when you select "ClickUp" AND "tasks" in your search UI, should not take a nearly 8 seconds for a result or have me "Ask AI"

I'm sorry, I know it's a company conference. But the WP Engine Decode Keynote list is just super corporate and boring. Recent conferences I have definitely felt FOMO, this one 😬 eesh, snoozefest. This is not a knock against actual tracks.

The biggest differentiator between vibe coded anything will be usability, which can mean "use prompt & get result" or more often actual UX/UI. So many devs don't understand how their specific audience or beyond, how the general public would use an app or service, site, etc

Yo @nikitabier and @elon is this the type of "high quality content" you're looking for on X? That "Irreverent rape comedy"? Love how this Chucklefuck account has "Family First" bio. What a fucking cesspool this site has become.
