Coming back from work today, I met a group of kids seriously enjoying some mangoes. 😄
I asked if I could have a little taste, and one of them replied, "Can you dirty yourself like we did?" Curiously, I asked why.
They explained that the person who gave them the mangoes made them act silly and get themselves dirty before giving them any.
Surprisingly, I told them, "I'm an adult; I can't do that." The oldest among them smiled and said, "Then you're not ready to enjoy mangoes."
I asked why they would go through all that. They explained that while adults can climb the mango trees themselves, and older children can easily pick mangoes, they aren't able to that .
So if they want some, they have to clown around and dirty themselves before anyone gives them a share.
At that moment, I promised them I would bring them more mangoes tomorrow.
They immediately asked, "Where will you get them from?"
I replied, "I'll climb some of the mango trees myself." The joy and excitement on their faces were priceless. Guys, I have a mango tree to climb tomorrow. Pray for me. 😀😀
