In Japan 10 days so far and everything has been amazing! Visited Kyoto, Osaka, and Kawagoe. The food is delicious and the people are so kind. Off to Tokyo next!

I let the kids call me by my first name on the last day of school. They look forward to it and say my name way too much πŸ€ͺ, but it’s a fun treat. They made me my own bday scratch off card and a compliment poster was one of them, so special! πŸ₯° @FreedomHillES #fhhighlights

Standardized tests have no place in elementary education. Because testing becomes the focus of education instead of learning. We take away the fun and excitement of playing, exploring, & creating. These are the ways children learn best!

We make coasters after our first SOL to bring joy to the kids. It’s a favorite yearly and kids leave with the biggest smiles. Lots of Ss give them as Mother’s Day gifts or to grandparents. I got the nicest feedback about them today. @FreedomHillES @FCPSR2 @fcpsnews #fhhighlights
