Bill Moyers interviewed and featured my father in law, John Arnold, in a chapter in his 1971 book Listening to America. And he responded to my email in 2000 with a remembrance when I informed him of John’s passing.
Bill Moyers, a legend in the world of journalism and a longtime member of the extended PBS family, has died at the age of 91.
Moyers was perhaps best known for the long-running programs and documentaries he produced at PBS, including "Bill Moyers Journal" and "Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth."

The Center extends its condolences to the Carter family and colleagues on the passing of President Jimmy Carter. Carter and Andrus became friends in 1971 while Governors of their respective states and shared a passion for the outdoors, especially fly fishing.

Technical Sgt Dan L McGrath US Army🇺🇸 died on 13th July 1945 aged 37 & is buried in Epinal American Cemerety 🇺🇸🇫🇷. His brother George fought with the Marine Corps🇺🇸 & survived. 2 of their grand-parents were Irish☘️ immigrants.

I’m deeply saddened with the loss of Tracy Andrus. I had the privilege to serve with her on the @AndrusCenter board of governors these past several years. Memories of her go back some 35 years when on the staff to Gov. Cecil D. Andrus and her frequent visits to the office.
