Why cuts matter:
Last night I texted Robert Garrigus, who had made a birdie on the last hole of the KFT event to make the cut, to see how long the putt was.
“18 inches, thank god. I shook it in”. His first made cut on an OWGR tour in 944 days.
Garrigus has played nearly 400 pga tour events, has a win, made over $14 million on Tour, and was shaking over a 18 inch putt to make a cut on the KFT.
Pretty great.
