It’s the anniversary of this iconic Paolo Di Canio goal for Napoli in 1994.
Milan lose a goal.
Paolo loses his shirt.
The commentator loses his fucking mind.
This isn't smug or anything, but I really hope that our current success demonstrates something to fans.
March 1st 2025, we lost 4-3 at Barnsley. We were poor, but the flood of 'Skubala Out' messages around then was unbelievable. I even turned commenting off because I defended the team, Skubala and got all sorts of abuse.
One year on, and we're on the brink of arguably the most impressive automatic League One promotion in modern times. Everyone is happy and Michael Skubala is close to adding his name to that of Taylor, Alexander, Cowley, Murphy and Anderson.
No journey is linear, but sometimes, supporting your club is about seeing the small wins, and accepting the minor setbacks without a full-blown implosion.
Remember that next time we lose a couple of games.

Not only was Graham Taylor trending yesterday, but the BBC also did this wonderful little tribute to him after their highlights late last night - just wait for that smile at the end.
A ghost so satisfactorily laid to rest.
Now go and win it lads. ❤️🏴
