Been testing Codex inside Xcode for a few days now. Honestly surprised how good the workflow feels already. Less context switching, faster iteration, cleaner SwiftUI scaffolding. Feels more like working with a real dev partner than an autocomplete tool.

Been quiet for a while. Still coding. Still learning. Still chasing freedom. Sometimes progress is silent.

oops… my last Cursor month was not cheap 😅 (500$) left it on Opus 4.6 and completely forgot to switch it back. indie hacker lesson of the month: check your AI settings before they check your bank account 💸

Been almost a month offline. Got sick. Lost the rhythm. Now I’m back, full energy ⚡️ Let’s build.

Meanwhile Apple said “nah” to mine today. Rejected in the morning. Fixed & shipped by evening 😅 On we go 🚀

App marketing tonight: TikTok vs. Instagram vs. X vs. Reddit What would you pick, and why?
Tonight’s focus: app marketing 🚀 TikTok, Instagram, X, Reddit. Curious what’s working best for indie apps right now, any insights?

Lunch break ☀️ Stepping away for a moment to reset the mind. Focus comes from rest, not nonstop grinding.

Time flies. Just getting back to my iOS apps now. Even the next 30–60 minutes can move things forward.

I build iOS apps
🕘 next to a 9–5 job
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 with a family
🚀 and still try to make it work as an indie hacker Here’s how I do it ↓

If you’re building next to a job and family and still want to ship follow along.

Success to me isn’t: 💰 $10k MRR ;-) It’s: • apps in the App Store • real users • steady progress Everything else is a bonus.

Building in public is non-negotiable. Not for clout, but for: • visibility • feedback • accountability

I don’t plan in months. I plan in evenings. Tonight: ✔ one screen ✔ one bug fixed ✔ one step forward Momentum beats motivation.

My tech stack is intentionally simple: • SwiftUI • minimal dependencies • no overengineering The goal is shipping, not perfection.
13
I don’t build big apps. I build small, boring solutions: • one problem • one user • one clear outcome Everything else is noise.
10
I never start with: “What app should I build?” I always start with: What problem annoys me again and again?
11
Truth:
I don’t have 6–8 hours a day to code.
Most days it’s 30–120 minutes. The difference?
I use that time on purpose.

I’ve been seeing this more often lately, might be time to add it to my apps too.
Adding the first Home Screen Quick Action to @focuskitapp: This proved to be the best way to receive feedback before a user uninstalls the app!
