🧾 NEWS Notice on Standardizing Actor Credits in TV dramas : • Actor credits will be subject to categorized management, using the standardized titles of "Leading Actor," "Special Appearance," and "Appearance." These titles cannot be arbitrarily modified or additional categories added. • Actor credits should be arranged in ascending order of the number of strokes in the surname (for compound surnames, the number of strokes of the first character is used; for ethnic minorities, the number of strokes of the first Chinese character of the name registered on the ID card is used). For characters with the same number of strokes, the number of strokes of the second and third characters will be compared sequentially until a unique order is formed. • Actor credits must use their legal name. If a widely recognized stage name is used, the standardized format "Real Name (Stage Name)" should be adopted; stage names, English names, or nicknames should not be used alone. • This notice will take effect on July 10, 2026. All TV dramas (web dramas) premiering on that date must comply with the requirements of this notice.
