I said it on @SotDPodcast last month. Between the first round of m/wbb players wanting to get out of rev share agreements football players/coaches realizing there’s only one transfer window, this spring might be chaos for college sports

With only one transfer portal window now in January, no doubt that some players will try to unenroll at one school after the spring semester and then enroll at another school. These penalties would target that and almost certainly lead to more lawsuits by players.
