For every £100 you spend on fuel. £3.00 goes to the garage, almost £40.00to the fuel manufacturer (BP, Shell etc), and £57 goes in tax to the chancellor.

Talking to fellow tradespeople in the last week we are all going to start raising prices to compensate for fuel costs. The first time many have raised prices in nearly a decade. If you live in the sticks or the ULEZ's don't be surprised if firms don't want to quote for work.

It is imperative that the UK becomes as self sufficient as is possible, skills, manufacturing, food and energy in particular. The assumption that we can off shore most of our manufacturing emissions, importing back 'green' is about as far from sustainable as you can get.

We have helped clear up many fallen trees from Highway using our JCB's using Red Diesel.
After April of this year will be not be able to help clear the trees.Unless we empty the fuel tank change the fuel filters & fill up with Derv. Hmrc have the powers to cease our JCB's
