I feel so privledged to call Scotland my second home. As I tell my husband often, “I’m so glad you’re from Scotland and not Bumfuck, Ontario.” Basically my way of saying that visiting his homeland means amazing people, culture, food and scenery. It never disappoints. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
“Loch Lomond” in Foxborough. Quite a sight. #WorldCup

The location referenced in the song above. On a gloomy day a few weeks ago, Loch Lomond still delivered.

The World Lives Here. Canada is all together different. Truly unique. And so is our relationship to the beautiful game. This is our opening to the 2026 World Cup. Narrated by Kiefer Sutherland. #FIFAWorldCup

Couldn’t be closer to the truth. I wasn’t aware of the existence of the Granite Club or other similar establishments until my mid 20s when I (unfortunately) came in contact with other class groups.

That rampant antisemitism is becoming the norm in Toronto is a disgrace in and of itself. But tearing down awareness posters because a missing child happens to be Jewish? This is beyond evil. We can and must do better. Never again must mean never again.
In Toronto, a young Jewish girl named Esther has been missing for over a week. To make matters worse, people have been ripping down posters about her disappearance, just like they did with the hostage posters after 10/7—one of the more appalling things I've ever seen in my life.
