If you want to see more women in web3, you have to create the right environment for them. Dedicating my time and focus to women and non-binary events in web3 has been my dream and goal for a long time. So, what should you know about Beach Club members? 🌴 Well... You may want to call us 'girlies', but in the last year, I haven’t met more badass, intelligent, courageous, creative, and beautiful women than at our Beach Club. On average, we speak three languages each; all of us have hobbies and great jobs where we exceed standards. We share our knowledge, expertise, and help without expecting anything in return. We are not scared to jump into cold water, to be silly and playful, to sing, to sketch, to create. We enjoy healthy competition, motivate each other to overcome challenges, work early in the morning to shred double blacks in the afternoon, and work late in the evening because we take our work and responsibilities seriously. We love to sit in a circle on the floor, cook, and share food together. We empower other women, support fair play, and believe that discussing our emotions and feelings makes us even stronger. We welcome men who are willing to explore deep conversations and understand that sometimes vulnerability leads to an advantage. Most importantly, we stand up for each other. We love, laugh, and live. We follow 'Ask and you shall receive' while dancing to Beyoncé. Beach Club is a space that encourages women to be truly themselves (I am crying again) even outside of their workspace, fosters powerful connections, and becomes a powerful reminder of how communities should care not only for women but for everyone.
