At the World Senior Chess Championships 2025 in Gallipoli 🇮🇹, IM Alexander Reprintsev 🇺🇦 won the title in the 65 category. At the prize giving ceremony he was totally surprised that this also would bring him the grandmaster title. Never too old to become a GM!

Have just seen the list of participants of the U18 Open section of the European Youth #Chess Championship which will start in September in #Romania and was pleasantly surprised to see IM Eline Roebers as the #7 seed ! That's the way! 💪
