Illinois State is believed to be the first school ever to qualify for the Semifinals in a D1 postseason tournament in Football, MBB, and WBB in the same academic year. They lost an overtime heartbreaker in the FCS Final, and are headed to the NIT Semifinal and WNIT Fab Four.

There were times this year that this team had some tough losses and many labeled this team a "failure". There was also many who leaned in, still believed and cheered even louder. Could not be prouder of the grit & resilience of this team. Roll Damn Birds.

There is so much more to Chase Walker than being a basketball player. He is a gentle giant, a jokester, but most importantly he is loyal and has a deep belief in himself and those around him.
