Your emails landed in spam folder?
Here’s why….
There are more reasons that your emails can land in spam apart from your email service provider.
1. Domain: You just bought a domain name, you have No reputation with inbox providers yet. What they usually do is send some of your mails to spam and some to the inbox. When those in the inbox starts getting interactions, then they increase the amount that goes straight to the inbox until you achieve an higher level of reputation.
This is in the same bracket with those who stopped sending from their domain names for a period of time (usually greater than 30days).
2. Spammy words: Some words in the subject lines are detected as spam by the spam filters for inbox providers. That’s why
@affisend introduced AI to help you with those type of words.
Whenever you write a subject line, check the breakdown of the score attached to it by our AI and make adjustments where necessary.
The higher the score, the more potential to get to the inbox.
3. Bad list quality: If you keep sending to people who do not want to have anything to do with you, you reduce your reputation.
@affisend you can get penalized when there is an high amount of report against your domain.
So, we always advice to use double opt-in and regularly resend emails to your list to reconfirm their emails.
These are few, but are more common between email senders.
So, do not stop sending.
Take care of your list and send emails regularly to help with your reputation.
