Just as someone who’s been punching their own genitals for decades deserves a pair of steel shorts & a Medal of Long-Suffering, lifelong Knicks fans deserve this win. Seriously though: enjoy it to the fullest Knickerbocker lifers - doesn’t get better than a drought-ending title.

This was immediately following me watching S01E01 of Widow’s Bay a week after it premiered. And many years after watching the entirety of The Americans, and (briefly) meeting him at the Emmys in 2018.
I think Matthew Rhys is my favorite actor of my own age range. Dude is just absurdly talented.

I'm throwing together a #SFB16 group chat for the Bowser division live draft in LA - tagging folks on the photo who I can't DM (can only tag you here @westcoastwashed), come on in y'all!

Did anyone seriously think at any point that Trump was *legitimately* suing the IRS *that he controls* through the DOJ *that he controls* for $10B, & now are SHOCKED that there may be corrupt & illegal intent w/a settlement for $1.776B? Christ on a fucking crutch the brainworms.
Trump “deciding to cancel” the slush fund shouldn’t prevent the legal jeopardy he (& everyone who enabled it) should face for trying to divert taxpayer $$ to FUCKING PAY OFF INSURRECTIONISTS AND WHITE SUPREMACISTS. AND IT’S NOT STUNNING WHEN A TODDLER COULD HAVE SUSSED THIS OUT!

AI Data Centers?!? Just think of all the electricity wasted on A.J. Brown trade compensation speculation, rage-posts, debate videos, and 6/1 browser refreshing!

AJB Day has finally arrived! Prettayyy, Prettay Good.
Just 12 more days til A.J. Brown day! • We no longer see posts about how PHI's getting NE's next 5 1st-Rd picks, or how every WR injury = "price just went up!" • NE's offseason grade bumps up to an A (most important obvs) • 2028 1st stings a bit • Drake Maye wakes like this:

OR - PHI just wanted a small sweetener to the 2028 1st that had widely been reported.
It makes sense that the Patriots and Eagles aren’t close on a trade for AJ Brown. The real deadline is still months away bostonglobe.com/2026/05/30/s…

#SFB16 bonuses complete spreadsheet here with 20 yd receptions, 40 yd rushes, & 40 yd passes now added. The scoring really equalizes positional value, and WOW does it bring back WRs in a big way.
#SFB16 Scoring! Here's a Google Sheet with every player's stats for each regular season week in 2025, with the first several sections pulling the player bonuses from all the data. I'm going to add the 20/40/40 Rec/Rush/Pass plays soon! docs.google.com/spreadsheets…

This is just batshit crazy. The money and time being wasted on these failpocalypse selective indictments: insane. The sitting POTUS targeting ppl who litigated his past corruption w/ standing & legal success: nuts. The DOJ being weaponized & fully POTUS puppeteer-ed: shameful.
Targets of Trump's retribution:

#SFB16 Scoring Drop! Love the SFB9 throwback scoring, and the bonuses will make rankings interesting. Time to hunt down the best place to separate out player yardage totals per game🤔

Apple has published a paper with a devastating title: “The Illusion of Thinking” It argues that AI models, no matter how brilliant they may seem, do not understand what they are doing. They do not solve problems. They do not reason. They merely generate text word by word, trying to sound coherent. Apple tested the most advanced reasoning models in the world on controlled puzzle environments. They tore open the internal "thinking" traces. What they found shatters the narrative that we are getting closer to AGI. Current models don't scale with complexity. They have a hard mathematical cliff. And they do not degrade gracefully. They collapse. But here is the most unsettling part. When a problem gets too complex, the AI doesn't use its remaining compute to try harder. It just gives up. Its reasoning effort actually declines. It stops thinking and starts guessing. Then Apple ran the experiment that closes the casket on the reasoning debate. They gave the AI the exact, step-by-step algorithm to solve the puzzle. The cheat codes. All the AI had to do was follow the instructions. It couldn't do it. Performance didn't improve at all. When the complexity gets high enough, these models fail because they cannot actually execute a logical sequence. They are not reasoning. They are just pattern matching. When you give them a simple problem, they overthink. When you give them a hard problem, they collapse. Paper: The Illusion of Thinking, Apple, 2025
