➡️In a few days, Kigali will once again welcome the Africa CEO Forum, one of the continent’s most important platforms for public-private dialogue, investment, and deal-making. This year’s theme, “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership,” speaks directly to the moment Africa is in. Fragmented success is no longer enough. To compete globally, we must build larger markets, stronger value chains, deeper pools of capital, and companies with the ambition and capacity to operate across borders. For Rwanda, hosting the Forum reflects our ambition to serve as a gateway for investment, logistics, services, and innovation, the destination connecting global capital with African opportunity, and helping turn dialogue into action. We look forward to welcoming business leaders, investors, policymakers, and partners from across Africa and the world to Kigali on 14–15 May.

In the middle of covering the NBA Playoffs, I made my way to Rwanda to support the growth of the game for girls on the continent. As the first female ambassador of the BAL, it’s truly an honor to witness our collective dream becoming reality. The future is bright — and the best is still ahead. ✊🏿

I definitely saw this in the last few days I spent in Kigali. Trust = Consistency x Time Consistency in execution Consistency in proactiveness Consistency in messaging Consistency in competence What's particularly interesting in Rwanda is that this consistency comes with a positive "sense of urgency". Folks are looking to remove barriers and genuinely make things work with a fire I haven't yet seen in many jurisdictions. Needless to say, I leave Rwanda hopeful. @Kigali_IFC
"Our value proposition is not that we have the largest market. It is that we have one of the most reliable platforms on which to build. We offer stability, institutional coordination, a reform mindset, access to the region, and a government that understands execution matters." — RDB CEO @afrika_jean's keynote remarks at the #InvestInRwanda session held during the @africaceoforum in Kigali. #ACF2026
