Manu Koné vs Juventus last season. I've watched more of him and decided to find a comp that'll be shorter easier to digest for people while best encapsulating him is as a player and how he'll do versus EPL opposition. ✅ Fantastic dueller. He has the nous for knowing when to go in for duels, with the right amount of aggression. He's able to use his strength to turn what seems like 50-50 duels to a win. ✅ Covers ground super well OOP. Rice will rest easy with Koné as his backup. ✅ Willing receiver from deep, very brave. Wants responsibility. He's very good at using his body to win fouls. ✅ I'd best describe him as an anchor DM. Knows how to stick to his position or space (with exceptions, course) and doesn't just run around like a headless chicken. I rarely saw him try to close down and leave the space behind neglected (looking at you, Tonali.) ✅ Reeaally good passer. Like, really good, progressive too. He even has a good eye for creative passes in the final third (for scenarios where we push the opposition defence deep into a lowblock). I didn't see him execute long, aerial over-the-defence passes (Mateus Fernandes is the goals standard in the market for this), but when it comes to playing through the centre to bypass the opposition's midfield or defensive line, he's very good. He's good at short passes, good at through balls. He still maintains a very high pass percentage when you consider the forward-thinking passes he makes. I think this is because of his balance in passing... knowing when to slow down and when to speed it up. ✅Shockingly good dribbler when he wants to be. Didn't even know he had this in his game until I watched more of him. ✅He fouls a lot but the vast majority are tactical fouls a la Rodri, so he doesn't really get carded for them. Some of his fouls could be avoided, though. ❌ First touch can be concerning at times, and he takes a bit longer than necessary on the ball sometimes. ❌We should not expect him to be an elite carrier like Rice or Ødegaard (though I believe he has the physicality and speed for it. I've seen some runs where he carriers akin to Rice over large distances.) Already liked Koné from afar but our links to him made me check him out and like him way more. For that price, it's a no-brainer. Would be a great generalist to add to our squad as a direct Rice bench option... and unlike the likes of Fernandes, Tonali, and Anderson, he wouldn't mind being a rotation option.

Tzolis is a mentality monster. Averages 40 touches per game for a winger (which also translated across to the CL in the data). That’s unheard of. He has that ‘give me the ball and I’ll do the rest’ gene. He also works incredibly intensely & diligently in the defensive moment.

Christos Tzolis is an interesting player. He’s practically a younger version of Trossard, but with better physicality. Predominantly a LW, who’s comfortable on either flank and can also operate centrally. A good blend of goalscoring and chance creation.

Bradley Barcola Situation • Moussa Sissoko has been trying to renew Bradley Barcola’s contract for the best part of 9-12 months. Talks have been difficult, and it reached a point where both parties agreed to put negotiations on hold so that Barcola and PSG could focus on important fixtures in April and May. • Soon after the UEFA Champions League final, talks resumed and remain ongoing. The player reportedly told people close to him that he was disappointed not to start a number of important fixtures. • PSG’s position is clear: renew or we will sell, as his contract expires in June 2028. Personally, I think that is a significant stance for the club to take. • Barcola’s agent also represents Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué and maintains a good relationship with PSG. The club is also in serious talks regarding Yan Diomande and Maghnes Akliouche, which could further influence the situation surrounding Barcola. Both Arsenal and Liverpool are interested, but I want to explain Arsenal’s side of the story. • Andrea Berta made serious enquiries into Barcola’s situation last summer. At the time, Arsenal were informed that the player would stay for at least one more year. Since then, Berta has remained in constant contact with Sissoko and has made it clear that Barcola is of serious interest to Arsenal. He has also asked to be notified if PSG become open to a sale. Pemadaman listrik terjadi karena kebijakan si bolu ketan yang mangkas kuota produksi batubara perusahaan gila2an sampe 40%-70%. Gak cuma batubara aja sih, nikel dan emas pun juga dipangkas. RKAB (Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Biaya) bulan Juni gak di-acc. Jadinya gak ada produksi. Perusahaan tambang milih tutup. Efeknya banyak karyawan tambang yang dirumahkan. Contohnya ada salah satu perusahaan tambang yang punya 12 ribu karyawan disisain cuma 300-400 aja di site buat jualan. Sisanya? Ya dirumahkan. Alasan dirumahkan karena udah gak ada kegiatan. Tinggal jualan sisa yang ada doang. Ini pun tetep dibikin susah sama negara karena ada kebijakan 1 pintu. Mau jual ke PLN lebih susah lagi cashflow-nya karena tau sendiri gimana bisnis sama pemerintah/BUMN. Pasti perusahaannya dipalak. Daripada dipalak, ya mending gak dijual. Jadi ketersediaan batubara di PLTU yang harusnya seminimal mungkin tersedia untuk 26 hari, tapi sekarang kenyataan di lapangannya hanya tersedia untuk 11-12 aja. Dan ini terjadi hampir di semua PLTU yang ada di pulau Jawa. Imbasnya terjadi pemadaman listrik karena stok batubara di PLN menipis. Jadi ibarat kata, sekarang PLN lagi berhemat. Tapi efeknya rakyat yang jadi korban. Intinya ini semua terjadi karena kesalahan si bolu ketan dan jajarannya. Bisa jadi mereka salah itung karena kapasitas produksi tambang batubara masih gede tapi dibatesin buat jaga harga. Ditambah saat ini rupiah melemah dan dollar makin tinggi. Semua bingung atur cashflow karena pemerintahnya sendiri juga bingung atur cashflow APBN disebabkan kebijakannya sendiri. Tau sendiri kan APBN dihabisin kemana, ya ke embege dan kopdes. Makanya salah satu tuntutan demo besok itu agar embege dan kopdes di stop karena udah ditahap bener2 ngerugiin negara.

Attitude over everything… Hopefully Sancho realises before it’s too late. Like Ousmane Dembele. But I’m doubtful. Has had enough warnings and is content with being mediocre relative to his potential. A shame. More talented than Henderson, Milner, etc but a way worse career.

When you combine a top attitude with natural and optimally harnessed talent, you get Declan Rice, Jordan Henderson, James Milner, etc, etc. When you combine natural talent with good coaching but a subpar will to win, you get Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho, etc.
