They did finally get back to me and I just received a refund for the bacon.
I've had a lot of freshness issues though with HEB recently. And I've seen other declines in quality of products.
I really hope they're taking this feedback seriously. I want HEB to stay good.

Just pulled put the bacon I bought from @HEB delivery on June 2nd and saw it says use by May 24th. I'm not even shocked anymore.
It's sad to say but this is routine now. Even the formerly best grocery store is enshittifying hard core.

It's really hard to find bacon that's not 90% far and like 10% meat. But I'm cooking up some @WrightBacon and I'm properly impressed. This is what bacon should be! The ratio is good and the slices are nice and thicc.

In a world where quality and customer service are rapidly declining, I want to shout out @Dominos for not only having a quality captain make sure your order is right before it leaves but also for making pizza that doesn't suck. They literally did the opposite of enshittification

I highly recommend STAYING AWAY from @FreedomShowers. I'm 90% sure the sku I added to cart is not the one that got ordered, though I can't prove. But their policy on returns of new products is "sucks to be you!" Which is especially disgusting given their vulnerable clientele.
