Lot of younger folks doing "digital" may not know the name Erin Hofteig. She was one of OGs from mid 2000s; had a hand in shaping the discipline as it evolved into huge presence it is today.
I learned she passed away recently. She'll be missed by many of the old heads. RIP.

Hey @QuickBooks, your customer care team has completely messed up a payroll correction that resulted in your improperly initiating an electronic payment to the IRS for $14,282.40 that my company does not owe. Then you made it all worse by initiating a refund on $ we do owe to DC.

This is so, so, sad. I met Ady on a campaign in 2006, and he immediately made everything better. He lived a life of activism and clarity of purpose that we all hope for. My heart goes out to his family, friends and colleagues.
