My heart goes out to Koji Suzuki’s loved ones. Adaptations of his work greatly influenced my own. Specifically, Erica Fett’s (@ericafett) character “Nurse Jane” in A Gettysburg Haunting (@aghaunting) was inspired by Ringu’s “Sadako.” Here’s concept art drawn by our MUA 1/2

We are sad to learn that Japanese master of horror Koji Suzuki has passed away at 68.
Koji Suzuki's nightmares defined an era of horror beginning in the '90s with THE RING, originally a Suzuki novel, and DARK WATER, based on a Suzuki short story.
