Earlier today, we distributed 100 water pumping machines to beneficiaries across Kaduna North Federal Constituency. The beneficiaries, comprising mainly farmers and other deserving members of the community, received the equipment as part of ongoing efforts to enhance agricultural productivity, particularly through irrigation farming. Kaduna North is largely urban so agriculture is not always something we focus on. This intervention is aimed at supporting farmers to increase crop production, improve their livelihoods, and strengthen food security within the constituency. It also complements the earlier distribution of fertilizers to farmers, further demonstrating our commitment to the empowerment and development of the agricultural sector in Kaduna North Federal Constituency. In each of the 12 Wards, a committee of three, two stakeholders and the ADC Chairmen chose the beneficiaries. Each Ward produced 8 beneficiaries. A total of 96.
