The TCG space is flooded with gamified projects that are little more than ponzi schemes in disguise.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Coins built on endless new volume eventually die. No matter how strong the “flywheel” sounds, they all collapse once participant growth slows.
Should you avoid them entirely?
No.
But only play with money you can afford to lose, and make sure you actually have an edge.
For more risk-averse exposure to solid TCG projects, focus on teams operating honestly and above board. Here are a few I’ve personally used and interacted with multiple times.
@collectdotrip - solana:DLGRpmkMGr7J4KD1xR5x2XjaGeQH64PLFQkyxNNSpump holders can convert 1M coins to equity in the ACE round (or hold for other benefits)
@Beezie - Bought-back cards don’t re-enter the claw machine, meaningfully improving EV
@mnstr - Some of the best gacha odds non-expiring buybacks
@dyli_io - Professional one-stop shop: vault, buy, sell, rip, grade, and more
